At The Inspired Bookshelf, we are dedicated to illuminating hearts and minds with stories that inspire faith, hope, and purpose. Founded by professional athlete and author Megan Gustafson, our mission is to publish books that reflect biblical values, spark imagination, and nurture the hearts of readers, young and old.

Meet Megan
Megan Gustafson is a professional athlete, passionate storyteller, and the founder of The Inspired Bookshelf. Known for her impact on and off the court, Megan is now channeling her creativity into the world of books.
Our newest author—who also happens to be a pro basketball player—is teaming up with her beloved dog, Pancake, on her first publishing journey. Their debut book, releasing August 2025, weaves together heart, adventure, and a deep sense of purpose. Together, they’re here to inspire readers young and old, one story and bookshelf at a time.
